This red iridized fusible glass from Youghiogheny has a smooth texture. The translucent quality of the glass provides added dimension which becomes beautifully apparent when illuminated. There is also an iridescent quality which adds a subtle rainbow-like color that is reminiscent of mother-of-pearl in that the colors shift as you view the glass from different angles. This glass has been created as part of Youghiogheny's line of Fusible COE 96-compatible glass.
